You Can Make a Difference
There are many ways to support Families Helping Families of Illinois, and every one of them makes a difference.
Whether you give your time, donate needed items, make a financial contribution, or help spread the word about our mission, your involvement helps local families build a stronger, more stable future. You dont have to do everything. Choose the way that works best for you. Together, our volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters help Families Helping Families create opportunities for families to move forward.
Mentoring
Mentors are the heart and soul of FHF! Mentors work in pairs and receive training and lots of support. Share your time, talents, and experiences to provide practical help when it’s needed most. You do not need to have all the answers, just a willingness to listen, learn, and make a difference.
Professional Services
Our families often need the services of an attorney, doctor, dentist, orthodontist, hair stylist, auto mechanic, etc. These services are unaffordable luxuries for our clients. By donating your professional services, you can help families overcome challenges, support our programs, and contribute to a stronger community.
Spread the Word
One of the easiest ways to help is to tell others about Families Helping Families. Share our mission, invite friends and organizations to get involved, and help us connect with people who want to make a difference.
